Good poetry can mean anything. There is no wrong way to read a poem. You can read it upside down, you can yell its words into empty streets, you can rip it up and reassemble it. It’ll still be the same poem. It’ll still carry the same feeling, the same meaning, the same story. The only aspect that can change is the conversation between the poem and the heart of its reader. If they speak the same language, a strong magic will be released and it’ll be the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
